Chinese silver coins real or fake and value [opgelost]

7 berichten
So I have two coins both are China and pass the ping test both are reeded and appear silver on the reeded edges both check out in the references but just wanted to get another opinion.
The first one is in great condition its a Kwang-Tung province 1 mace and 44 candareens the weight is 5.0g the KM# is Y201 and it matches a 20 cent piece.
The second one is maie in foo-kien mint 1 mace and 44 candareens I believe also to be a 20 cent piece.
If you can help me to know if these are the real deal that would be awesome.

coin 2:
The Kwangtung mace coin looks fake to me... certain Chinese characters look like they are not as pronounced as others (Which is an immediate red flag (especially for Chinese coins))

I am not an expert on these coins... but (in my opinion) it looks like an absolute fake... (it could be silver (sometimes fakes are made of silver))

These coins are often faked because they are valuable to collectors...

Better and more close up photos would help (especially of the Chinese characters) ... but the photos you have now are not bad :)

Hope this Helps!

I agree...
From looking at the better pictures... both are fake... (and probably not silver) (at least the first one is not silver)

Sorry that we couldn't give you a positive result :(

Sincerely,
ShadowyEnigma :)
Well dang thanks for your help.
Yes, both are obvious fakes (just to put the last nail in their coffins).

The rims and strike (especially on the Fookien one) give the game away.
