There were notable surges in memberships from Brazil, New Zealand, Philippines, Swaziland, and the USA. In fact, for the third time in four months, the USA broke the record for the largest number of new members from any one country in a single month.
Armenia, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brunei, El Salvador, Fiji, French Polynesia, Gibraltar, Greece, Honduras, Japan, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Namibia, New Caledonia, Nigeria, Panama, Paraguay, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, and Zimbabwe each gained one new member.
72% of this month's new users belong to one of the Top Ten nations on Numista by user count (USA, France, India, UK, Canada, Belgium, Brazil, Australia, Spain, Portugal). Both Brazil and Australia passed Spain, who fell directly from seventh to ninth rank.
Of the top ten nations, India grew the fastest this month (2.8% increase), while Spain grew the slowest (1.1%). France grew by 1.5% and the USA grew by 2.6%.
