The first coin is of emperor Valens (D N VALEN.....S P F AVG) and shows on the reverse a soldier with, I believe, the legend GLORIA ROMANORVM. The mint where it was struck should be identifiable.
The second coin doesn't have the same light as on the first one, so the legend is more difficult to read: D N ... ...VS P F AVG. The reverse is of the VOTA type. Inside the wreath there should be a legend: VOT on the first line, and a numeral on the second: V, X, XV, or XX, etc.
