Hello, everyone!

when the matter is chinese, I have a hard time!
first one, 30mm and 7,1g

the second, 26mm and 3,5g

Any help is welcome, thanks!
Hello,

First : Sheng song yuan bao (Northern song dynasty, seal script). Hartill 16.369 ?

Second : Bu quan, very well preserved and very nice! Hartill 9.72 (blob above hole)

If I'm wrong someone correct me please.
For the first coin, the closest available in Numista:

Second coin is from a few centuries further back, well outside my knowledge zone of Chinese coins... the further back they go the murkier things get for me. Be careful of fakes.
Thank You!

I agree.
Looks to good to be that old...

Perhaps you can search here for a real one:

2nd one looks genuine to me but I can be wrong, I'm only a beginner in chinese coins.

Looking at the values, they surely are replica's
The real ones are much more valuable

Old does not mean expensive... Common type of Huo quan can be found for 1$ or 2$, or even less in wholesale. They are plenty more genuine ones than fake ones; Knife coins are less common and often faked. Bu quan are not so common but are not that rare. David Hartill puts for this one Bu quan a rarity index of 13, which means an approximate market value of 10$. You know how it is about catalog values... but it gives you already a feeling, that it will not be for hundreds.

For instance from a reliable ebay dealer

I really like the way this seller describes his spade money.... I guess they do look a bit like pants. :O
