Hi,
This is a coin I found online and I would like to know if it's genuine or not because I always get suspicious when I see new uncirculated coins. Also, how would it be possible to tell if a coin is genuine especially when it is recent and uncirculated?
Thank you.

The internet is full of this kind of videos on you tube.
Of course, these are not the same coins as yours but any bullion coin is being faked, so take precaution.

That's scary, makes me glad I gave up my silver bullion.
They even fake Polish 2 zlote commemoratives that are worth just a few bucks. I heard that they even faked regular US quarters to send to the US and exchange for cash.

That's indeed scary. Like I said a few days ago, fake coins are the biggest threat of our beloved hobby and it's getting worse every day. Fake coins are getting better and better and nowadays even specialists can be fooled. And you may gave up your silver bullion but older coins are getting faked also. Loot at the Morgan dollars in PetrusAscanus link.

True, but at least it's usually easier to spot older coins' fakes... whereas the fake bullion in that video you posted looks almost good enough that I could've fooled.
Sometimes I look at my collection and want to interrogate it, i.e. "Is any one of you a fake?"
There are loads and loads and loads of counterfeit bullion coins that directly say they are counterfeit and look almost exactly like the original. They go for two to three euros, especially for the Chinese panda ones!
