1815 Upper Canada 1/2 Penny Token - Commercial Change; Rarity 100

Hi Members

Per Numista, there is no picture to post to identify this coin, so I posted pics.
It has a Numista Rarity Index of 100.
I have discovered one in some binders of coins from an estate auction.

If anyone has any idea of a realistic value to place on it, being as rare as it is, let me know your best guesstimate.

I'm also the owner of the 1858 Prov. of Canada One Cent with Upset Dies. Based on the October TOREX Auction estimate for the 1858 One Cent ($4K-$8K), is it reasonable to assume a similar value for Rarity 100?

Nice find!

According to the Charlton Catalogue of colonial tokens, 9th edition, 2015 (the latest published), it is worth $125 in F condition.

The Numista rarity index cannot be trusted as an indicator of value. For example:

I am myself the owner of several coins that seems to be "unique" on Numista (rarity 97), but not rare at all.

If you ever want to swap your token for Canadian or Newfoundland decimal coins, let me know.
