S. Georgius Equitum Patronus token [opgelost]

Hello!

I would like some information on this token. It shares the designs with https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces49956.html
but the size/weight (and possibly metal) is different. Possibly the original this
silver-coated brass token was based on...or another imitation from a later period.

It has a tiny hole which may indicate its history of being a necklace or lucky charm or such,
and that probably means it was owned by a sailor...and I'm hoping so!

diameter: 26mm
thickness: 0.5mm
weight: 3g

I was about to reply with what I know as I have seen them before,
but what I was going to write is already on that page ...
'These tokens were used especially by sailors as luck charms against sea accidents.
The design copies medallions produced by Kremnitz in Hungary in 1600s'.

I have now added translations on that page. :)
Also seen more descriptions on this page ...

The original is this gold coin from 300 years ago ...
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces88453.html
so everything else resembling it is a token copy.
Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins
Wow, didn't know the original was a gold ducat. Thank you for the info/help! :D I think it's a very nice token, beautiful designs and all. Judging from the condition I suppose this particular token is from the 19th century? (or early 20th?)
