Everything I look up on Google comes mixed with results for the 1966 musical or its 1972 film adaptation....

But just a word of advice; the Numista Rarity index doesn't actually indicate rarity, just how many Numista members have the coin in their collections. And even then, rarity doesn't necessarily translate into market value either.

A dealer is selling a brothel token here that is nowhere near as cool as yours, i.e. it is different and not from the Occupation era, for 80 NZD. Yours, I would safely double that, and maybe triple it. I'll let you work out how much 80NZD is.

p.s. I am not an expert regarding these tokens.

Hi! I established a date of Circa 1900, so there will be no separate thread. While no one can argue with nobody's post, if that token established $271.00 then it established $271.00. I believe OP's token shows real character, though (it looks as if it has been in wartime), so I wonder how this could affect the price… Nobody could well be close.

This token is made of cardboard covered with brass. The brass plate of one side is bent on the other side to maintain everything. the defect here is on the junction of the 2 brass plate.

 

AY's token is made the same way, as we can see the junction between the two brass plate on the reverse. Weight must be around 1.5g
