Hello Petrus,
It's a groat from the end of the 14th century. The most common ones are from Flanders. I don't think this one is. Various issuers made these coins.
I agree on the legends you read but this part :
"LO.DUC*LOT.BRAB." is more likely to begin with "IO." for Iohannes (Jan), instead of Louis which would be LVD or at least LV (Lvdovicvs).
Several possibilities for a Jean, duke of Brabant during these years. There are some groats for Jan III, duke of Brabant with this specific legend break "I/O" instead of "IOH", under reference DW 359-360, but "mintmark" is MONETA BRABAN. This one has not.
The word after "MONETA" should indicate the minting city or territory.
Letter 1 and 4 are the same (F?E?R?). 2 and 3 are "I L" it seems. Last one is either D or N.
So :
"..IL..N" or "..IL..D" ?
Common names are LOVAIN, BRVXELL or BRABAN for Brabant groats. It doesn't seem to match.
OK now I found after a long time :
It's a groat under Johanna en Wenceslas (1355-1383), struck in Vilvoorde (FILFD) in 1357, ref. DW 395.
See here, p. 158.
