Hi
For faster communication with referee please add reply button on coin "Modification request" page (My requests tab).
Many times referee comments/asks question for further clarification and if user who just added new coin wants to reply, he needs to go first to referee's page and send personal message and so on. To me this jumping all over the site is a hassle and sometimes simply I forget to reply.
Thank you
Hello.
Good suggestion! I support (because I just love to ask questions :°).
Indeed good, I support it.

Too often (especially for new users) they never follow up on requests for photo proof, more info, etc.; it would be nice if there was a option saying "Message the referee here" on the request page.
As referee if I find something confusing or questionable, I use to PM the member who requests the modification/creation to clarify data or fill gaps of information before accepting or rejecting request. Therefore, the member would receive a PM and they can just reply from there.

Anyways, I think is a good idea, and I would add a button to send PM to requester, so referee also can avoid going to profile page, and then to PM page. This way we don't need to go back to request page if need check something, or open an additional tab (we would not need to jump from one to other tab).
Just 10 options: you understand binary, or you don't.
Catalog Referee Coins, Banknotes & Exonumia: Uruguay, Cuba, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Panama, Ecuador, Zamunda, Parva Domus and more.
After giving more thought over this matter, further questions arise:
  • Should be this communication limited only to coin modification page and not being available at personal messages (no need for redundant messages over there)?
  • Should page have an extra type of status when message is written to user or referee - so that one can quickly see a new message is waiting, without the need to click button "submit again"?
  • Should be this communication limited after coin is positively validated (no need for further chit-chat)?
  • Should this messaging system allow only alpha-numeric type of data?
Best regards...
If you ask me rather than implement a whole new separate messaging system just for requests, we could just have a shortcut on the modification request page to a message template to the relevant referee(s). Kind of like what we have on the swap monitor.

This was implemented: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic146863.html

Wanted & swap list (euro coins & world coins, exonumia and banknotes circulated) https://goo.gl/AQjfKp - I have euro & world CC coins for swap.
