Hello,
Can anyone tell me what this Roman coin is? I can only partially read the letters, something AVG on the obverse and P III on the reverse...

diameter: 20.0mm
thickness: 1.5mm
weight: 2.72g
metal: bronze

Hello,

I think it is a roman denarius of Geta.

However, yours is obviously a contemporary forgery. It's not silver and some remain of silvering can be seen on it.
Thank you! I had a feeling it might be a contemporary counterfeit but didn't notice any trace of silvering...
