On this 1967 US Kennedy half dollar, the"E" of Liberty is slightly detached from the head of President Kennedy. Is this common, an error, or a variant?

I found a 1964 coin with the same feature, so I think it is not an error

I checked mine. It is not slightly detached as yours.
Maybe it is a variety but not an error.
