Tibet Rupee. Genuine or not?

Hi,

I just found this coin on ebay, not identified by the seller. I was wondering if it looks genuine to you or not. It should be silver, diameter I am told is around 30mm. I don't have any other details.

I appreciate any input, I have very little experience with these coins. The coin doesn't look silver to me, what do you think?

100% fake- you were right to be suspicious. It looks every bit like a cast modern fake, not even silver.

I have another one that intrigues me. Has anyone seen this countermark before? 23mm diameter

Not a problem at all.

Can't help you out with the countermark unfortunately, but if you start a new thread here about it someone who could might see it. Long shot though, since most countermarks' meanings are simply now lost to time.
