Hi all, I've recently acquired a 1/10 Angel which is a 1989. On here it says that in that year only proofs were minted. The other thing is there is what looks like a "N" on the dragon's tail. I can't seem to find what that means.
Hello, as you can see from the picture I posted of the coin, there is clearly a "N" on the dragon's tail. None of the pictures from the internet link have that mark. I'll post the other side but it's just exactly the same as the others.

Citeer: "Chrisfisher68"It's definitely not a fake. I've contacted the mint to see if they have an idea. I take it from your reply you have no idea either.. thanks anyway.
yes you are correct.
Just my feeling/opinion, but I can be wrong

A better picture would be helpful.
Does it have the letter A under the wing like this one?
I can't really see the N you are talking about, but I don't see the A either.
If I am reading this right all the 1989 lot had the A

I fear the 'N' you have on your coin is the abrevation of 'Nep'....
