Nice coins.
Citeer: "worth"Nice coins.
Thanks!
This Arabian writing looks so artistic to use, I do really like it on coins!!! Specially The Taifas coins!
Very surprised that you are not wearing gloves when touching these silver coins. Silver does not appreciate acid from fingers.
Still some great coins some of which I have never seen.

silver and gold are noble metals so the acids from my touch shouldn't hurt the coin. i know copper coins not so much!
Gold, I would agree with you, but I differ from your opinion on the silver.
Perhaps we need an experts comment.

Whattup with the music? I can see your mouth moving, but your words are drowning in the unnecessary music. I don't have a bad hearing, rather the opposite, which makes it even harder since I can hear all sounds in the video.

Nice coins though! But you should really considering wearing gloves. Finger prints on the obverse and reverse are not very apprecaite by collectors (and yes, you hactually touch the surfaces of the coins a few times, even if it's unintentionally).

You are right, but they are not like MS 65.. they should hopefully survive :)

Just trying to be a little more entertaining. But thanks for the feedback.

Touching those coins without gloves can cause problems; especially if they have silver or gold content.

Just saying.

What would touching gold with bare hands do in your opinion? I am curious.

Personally, I wear gloves all of the time when touching any precious metals and any non circulating coins.

I was told many years ago to keep my fingers off of all coins as it does not affect them now, but, slowly, the acid will leave your finger print on the surface.

Gloves are a few pounds a pair, and the touching of coins will devalue it by over 50% once the acid starts to eat into the surface, but will go unnoticed until it is to late to put it right.

Gold will not react with anything that is contained in your skin oils or sweat. If it's a gold alloy with larger amounts of copper or silver there is a chance for reactions and resulting discolorations.

I always judge a coin dealer on the way they handle coins, white cotton gloves are a must IMO for coins of any value, and the holding by the edges of a coin should be a minimum. Unfortunately so many people just don’t show any respect when handling coins, and true where Gold is the metal that will be 99% unaffected, silver, copper, bronze & brass will react over time to many substances deposited on their surfaces. I have seen numerous sellers planting a thumb print on a coin after a sale, whether this is on purpose or just ignorance I can’t say, and where with silver this can be easily eliminated, I have seen many a brass, bronze or copper coin over 40 years old ruined by a fingerprint. 🫆

I even saw a coin dealer at a coin show once who was selling uncirculated silver coins from a roll, bounce them out of the roll across the table using his dirty thumb and finger whilst counting them out, the poor buyer had to sit and watch in horror as his uncirculated brand new coins were treated like cheap circulating cents. I didn’t buy any coins from this fat ignoranus!
