Unknown coin to identify, possibly Indian

Can anyone help me identify what looks to be an “Indian” coin. The inscription might be Bengali, Gujerati, etc – which I do not read!

This coin-like object is non-magnetic and dark-brown or dark-grey in colour – which may be the result of patination than the metal’s original colour.

Diameter: about 20mm. Thickness: about 1.5mm. Weight: unknown
