Asking for knowledge again. It appears I have a Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld 6 kreuzer of Ernst I, dated 1826. However, I am unable to confirm this with the catalogs I have access to. It appears to be made of copper, 20.4mm diameter, 2 grams.
The image is from SCWC 1801-1900 (6th edition 2009). Shows the same coin but in silver. Many of the coins that were stated in silver were only plated in silver, and not that great of a quality of plating. You can see on your reverse image some traces of the silver ..
I have several coins from that time period supposedly silver with some quantities silver worn off exposing the copper beneath ...

Thank you for the assistance with identification. I had suspected silver plating but have no source confirming that as the case, especially that the plating would be of such poor quality. Thanks again.
