Quick Swap #1

Looking at the Numista Rarity Index I see that Thailand 1 Baht Y#183 is still only a 3. That means some of you don't have this coin. Lets make it a 2 or a 1.

Offer

1. Send me a pm with your address
2. I will send you a random year of this coin by regular air mail.
3. In return send a random low denomination coin from your country by regular airmail.

No swap ratings.
Open to larger swaps if you want.
If you do want a particular year you can request (1986 is not going to happen though).
I always thought 3 was the lowest rating used on the Numista website

has a 2

Not sure we can get to a 1 but I have over 200 of these 1 bahts to see if we can get there.
Well, you learn something new every day. Did not realize a rating of 2 existed.

In November 2018 the lowest NRI value was 3: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic66544.html

numinis,
Any idea why this rating of 2 was added?
There must be hundreds of coins that qualify as a 2

This question should be posed to people who created the NRI formula. I can only suggest a hypothesis. Possibly the lowest value is somehow dependent on the absolute number of users who own that common coin: when this number reaches a certain threshold, the value decreases by one. Back in 2018 Numista has had less users than now. But it is unclear what will happen when 0 will be passed, maybe we will see -1? Or are all coins gradually aproaching 0 like a black hole, and one day all coins will have 0 as their NRI, with the exception of Demerara & Essequibo or similar coins, which will have 1?

So as not to hijack the thread (this wasn't my intention): blue-m, I find the idea interesting, but why don't you want any swap ratings? If two people by mutual agreement are swapping for fun and not for profit, why it is wrong to record this fact in the form of swap rating?
