I have a I think 1876 farthing not in very good condition and my eyes not so haha but think it reads 1876 also think victorias head on it
is it worth anything?
I don't know if you have already done this but you should check the weight and diameter against the figures given on the Numista catalogue listing to verify that you have got a farthing. It is very hard to grade the coin because the pictures are not fantastic, but I suspect it is going to be Fine at the very best, more likely VG. However, Tony Clayton's website gives some slightly improved values over the NGC site: http://www.coins-of-the-uk.co.uk/values/farth.html#QV
As always, though, the value of the coin is what someone is prepared to pay for it. If better grade examples are readily available then it is hard to imagine that anyone would spend more than a pound or two on your coin. But if all the good ones have been stashed away in collections and your coin becomes more scarce then of course its value will increase.
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.
