Comune of Piacenza [opgelost]

Comune of Piacenza existed in Italy from 1126 to 1336, until it was captured and ruled by the House of Visconti of Milan captured Piacenza, which they would hold until 1447. While it was still a free comune, this city issued some coins which I want to add. I think that the Comune of Piacenza should be added in the list of issuers.

How should I call it? Comune of Piacenza or just Piacenza? Some Italian states are done just that way, simply. Also, what differs it from duchy of Piacenza?

​It should be called Comune of Piacenza. In Italy comunes were like free cities, there were some local governing system, it's similar to republic. When Piacenza became duchy, the rule of local government was finnished and the power went to the Duke and his House.

Ok, makes sense. Maybe we should also revisit other Italian states, some have only plain name, so maybe some of those were Comunes as well.
