A general question re. the use of photos under a CC licence.

Any restrictions/ guidelines here?

How about CC-NC (non-commercial)? Does Numista qualify and will it stay like this?

Regards
CC can be used freely, I saw some wikipages being used here already. For CC-NC I believe it it is safe to use as well, Numista does not use catalogue images commercially and does not engage in commerce at all actually.

Great, thanks!

The non-commercial part was my main question

Just as a note, most CC licences (any that contain BY) should still credit the author. And all CC material should include a link to the licence agreement.

For example, if I want to use this image:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Kiloware.JPG

I should credit it so:
Photograph by Michael Sander, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0
For that, just use "Other source" where you can specify it. :)
