Hello,

I've added some coins for Abtei Muri. Can we create a new issuer for these under Swiss Cantos please?

The other issuers from Aargau (Zofingen, Laufenberg) have their own section, so to be consistent I think Muri Abbey should also be a separate issuer.

Regards

Hi!

Some issuers (like Muri) are now missing a flag.

Can I help prepare these? what format and size do they need to be? looks like .jpg 16x16px?

Best
I guess so. Xavier posted some template here long time ago: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic62020.html

Thank you! You are the first to use the flag templates :)
I uploaded the flags. They will show up within a couple of days.
Many thanks Xavier!
If I can help with other flags, let me know

Maybe I just don't have talent for that but i still cannot figure out how to create flags, especially on such a tiny format.
Any video guide exists on how to make that? Do I need something like Flagmaker 2.0 for a program?

I don't have a video for that. Here are the steps:
  • For plain backgrounds, I reuse one of the template flags (https://en.numista.com/forum/pieces_jointes/flag_pack.zip).
  • If the background has several colors (e.g. bands), I copy and paste parts of the template flags.
  • If the flag as a symbol on it (like in the flags posted by stratocaster), I find a picture of the symbol on Wikipedia or anywhere else, I cut out the background, I reduce it to fit within a rectangle of 12px × 10px (possibly up to 14px × 12px) and I copy it in the centre of the background.
  • Save as GIF

It could be nice to move to SVG flags in the future, but nothing is planned yet.
Sorry,

Really would like to help with Additions of German States flags but I already struggle with creating a simple flag such as this one.
