Token with measuring scale

I found an aluminium token that I have no idea what use was to be made of it. It is identical on both sides, 34.93 mm diameter, 1.55 mm thick, and weighs 3.43 grams. Medal alignment. Any information about it will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, the possibilities are endless. There are private mints that will custom make tokens for anybody for any purpose at any time. I found one just like it but they don't provide any useful information either. Good luck.

It looks like the knob from a safe to me, but I can't find a listing for RD. However, there is an R & D Lock & Key in Lima, OH.
