I need help...bought this coin, but cannot find any information about it. Looks like Minerva, but to the left, not to the right. Is it some rare variation, or maybe simple fake coin? 13,2 gr. 31-32 millimeter.
I'm almost certain it's fake however the photo is very dark with a bright background. Can you please upload some better photos just to be sure? Maybe taken with a cellphone under natural light?

Hi,
I agree it's a fake, sorry. The style of the lettering on the obverse is wrong. Also the unnatural wear, the very soft edges of the design, the quality of the surface + this massive pit under the S on the reverse.
I may even see a casting line on the edge (under Minerva's feet)? Check the edge in any case. If there's any trace of an edge there, it's a clear sign of casting.
best
strato
Cro what is the give away that it is fake? I'm not disagreeing with you, I just don't know and would like to.
To me the biggest giveaway is its surface, ancient coins surface just doesn't look that way. Also its lettering and details (or better yet lack of details) on the obverse portrait and reverse. Sorry I can't be more specific.

That's great. Thank-you
