Hi, can anyone help me identify this "coin" please. It looks like it has been made into something else with the smelted blob on the back.

Welcome to Numista!

I suppose it's a UK coin of the Victorian era, pre-1887. With the diameter, you'll know what denomination it was (shilling = 23.5 mm, etc.).

As for collecting value, it has none except for collectors of "love tokens".
