Numista Banknote Milestones

Thought we would post shout outs and successes here.

Ukraine's banknote listings from 1992 are live. Well described and complete. All notes regular issue and commemorative issues are there.

Thank you to our members who have the passion for Ukraine!

We have hit the 1000 banknotes on Numista mark.

Thanks to the many coin refs who are taking time to create excellent pages and submitting key edits. This has resulted in a great many entries for members to start using. Thanks.

Also, please don't just copy-paste from Colnect, we don't want a second Colnect catalogue, we want a better catalogue than that!

We can't blame them for stealing our pictures if we are straling their info.

3500 listings. Many with 3 or more date lines. Some with 20 or more. It's just a guesstimate, but that's more than 7000 places to list your collection!

My 1st. milestone: I just ended adding all notes of today's currency from Uruguay (Peso Uruguayo), 26 years from created the currency (1994 to date), and 26 pages of banknotes, all with images. Most of them have 4 or more year lines. So far some have complete data, and the rest have at least the basic information, later will add the details.

Now will think of what is the next range I will add (I have 4 countries).

After just a couple of weeks, we have 6,700+ pages! Many of which have more than a line for a note! Not a bad start! Thanks to those who have become referees! I really appreciate how you are taking the time to create pages in this beginning stage of the catalog.

OK, So far all banknotes issued by the 2 official banks: Banco de la República Oriental del Uruguay - BROU (50 banknotes) and Banco Central del Uruguay - BCU (74 banknotes); Bank of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, and Central Bank of Uruguay) are posted, complete and verified: this makes all issues from 1863 to 2020.

Now I'm working on add missing banknotes and verifying those already published from Cuba 1934 to date.

All listings in the catalogues of Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Transnistria, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe has complete descriptions, letterings and translations!
