Hi, i would like to ask to the expert an opinion about these 2 coins i have.

As you can see, the left one is yellow... It's strange for me because the normal color i saw everywhere is copper color as for the right one. The weight are respectively 2.60 g and 2.52 g, diameter is 19 mm for both.
Do you have some explication?
Thank you
Making "golden" copper coins is a common chemistry experiment in Germany and elsewhere. I made them when I was bored in the lab waiting for a solution to persipitate.
gold colorized for gift sets, many available on that auction site

What is this word colorized? ... Surely you mean colourised.

I have lost count of how many descriptions I have had to correct on Australian Coins that were uploaded with this incorrect spelling.

Not unnecessary .. required if you are going to use proper English on an English language website.

Removing the U when it should be used and using a Z when it should be an S is so so wrong.
While we are at it Z is pronounced Zed not Zee.

Who cares, he was asking a question about a coin not if he was miss using or misspelt a word.z)

Thank you for your replies.
Do you think the yellow cent is just a joke or some kind of official token/coin?
This link confused me:

Only chipping in because of the "to put Us or not" part.
Color without the U = American english
Colour with the U = British english

No idea why anyone would call out or cause a fuss over this, it's all english in the end.

I do not think they are product of US Mint. I think they are private enterprise product packaged up prettily for sale to any one who fancies them. Would make a nice party favor for a 10 year old birthday
