Canadian 1973 25 Cent coin ?????????????????

I have a tone of this 1973 25 cent coins and i know the variety with the big needs and small beeds. i cheeked them all just the more common variety. so i was reading how this variety came to be and some people say its because of con artists that made fake coins and some say that its just a error. can some one help?

No, the Charlton guide says it was a mistake someone at the mint made. The 73 was made with small beeds and someone but the, older obverse on and they were struck with that. The con artist is one of those conspiracy theories.
