Not sure if they must be in original language or in English, so I write both versions.

Uruguay:
Banco de la República Oriental de Uruguay (1896-1967) Bank of Eastern Republic of Uruguay.

At Uruguay and at Cuba, before government started issuing banknotes, some private banks were authorized to issue their own; most of them only issued a few face values only once. is it better to detail each of them, or are to be added as "Private Banks" or "private issuers"? I guess listing each is more coherent.
I still don't have the list of them, cause I'm waiting for my friend to return me the Uruguayan catalog I borrowed him (COVID-19 is slowing things). For Cuban ones I will search on Krause.
