What chinese coin and how many , would around year 1000 pay a sheep

For a friend who is a writer but not a "googler", I promised to find out what currency they had in China around the year 1000, and how many of the currency you would pay for a sheep or a horse or a something of a similar "fixed" value.
Or can someone refer to a place where it is more relevant to ask?

Hej Ebbe,

try this https://www.historicalstatistics.org/Currencyconverter.html

Jeg ved ikke om det bringer dig nogen vegne?

But it's something like that, that you need to search for.

An interesting question, don't forget that cash were usually used by groups of 100.
