Afghan Durrani Rupee odd

I believe this is an Afghan Rupee from the Durrani Empire, Ahmad Shah year 23, minted in Kashmir, but it looks different then other examples of this coin I have seen. It is 23mm round and weighs 11.07 grams.

The pattern in the background of the obverse also looks odd to me.

Good morning, beewalker. A lovely and fascinating coin. The name of the ruler was a great help. I am looking at his Rupees. The nearest I can find was minted in Peshawar (now in Pakistan).

Here is another Peshawar example:-

It seems to be been struck in AH 1161 (1748), 1 year into Ahmad Shah's reign.

Hope this helps,
