Blank token or blank planchet?

Hello all,
This one may be a difficult one to solve. The issue I'm having now is that I have had a blank coin with a rim for a while now, and I've never had any idea as to what the coin was. I've done my browsing on this website, searching for a possible identity of this coin, but I have never found any. The coin is 24 mm in diameter and about 1.5 mm in thickness. The coin has a reeded edge, eliminating all of these possibilities: Brass token, 24 mm, and Copper nickel blank token with rim. It closely resembles this coin: Blank Token Brass; with rim; 18.5 mm; reeded edge, except for the fact that it is a lot wider than the linked coin. Unfortunately, I do not have access to any sort of coin scale, so I was unable to determine this coin's weight. Furthermore, the last coin I linked was the only blank token that I found that had a reeded edge. I'm also not sure of its composition, it may be copper-nickel or brass. The last piece of information is that I got this coin in a gifted bag of coins from my grandmother, and almost all of the coins inside of the bag were American, although there were a few British ones, which is even more confusing. All of the blank tokens I have been able to find were British, but the likelihood is that this one is from the United States. Is it possible that this coin could be a blank planchet error from a token? Or is it also possible that it is a blank planchet from a country outside of the United States? I know it can't be the entire coin wearing down, as the ridging and rim are both too prominent for this coin to be that worn. I'm truly perplexed on this one. Any and all help would be appreciated. I've attached some pictures below for reference:

I would appreciate any help on this, as I am totally lost

Thank you!
Hello, from your picture I do not see the edge-reeding. What I see, are the marks made by the stamping-proces.
I suggest you should first figure out everything possible like the weight and the composition by XRF-test. Both
you can do at a good jewellery-shop.
...you can run,  but you can't hide...
Hello again,
I am coming with new information about this coin. It is still 24 mm in diameter and 1.5 mm in thickness. However, I have also learned it has a mass of 5.63 grams. I still am not aware of its composition. To reply to the last post, I am pretty sure it has ridging. The ridging is just somewhat worn and hard to see on camera. If it is not ridging, it is lines reappearing around the circumference of the coin. If the information about the mass of the coin helps at all, please tell me if you know what the coin is.
Thank you for all the help.
A note: I was not able to get to a jewelry shop to do the XRF test that you spoke of in the last post. Sorry.
