I tend to think that these rupees are almost impossible to narrow down completely, but if anyone has some advice to give on how I might figure this one out, please let me know. Thanks.
Oh, and also: there's a pretty clear "14" on the coin, but the NGC ones are numbered 46, 47, 48, 49, 50 (although I can't find any of those number on the NGC picture.)
Counting back, year 14 would be in the 1560s. Does that make sense with these coins?
Yes, it appears to be an Akbar rupee matching Sujit's. It uses Ilahi dating. It seems to me the line before the 4 may be part of the writing and not the date, making the date 4X (from the appearance could be 41, 42, 43, or 44, all known years for this type).

Thanks much. So is this a different type from the 93.2 that has dates 46-50? If so, do you know of a catalog number?
Your coin is KM#93.2 as the mint is Ahmadabad. The image on NGC page is incorrect. It is of Agra mint - KM#93.1
The difference on Sujit's coin and your coin is of Ilahi month which is at the top on reverse. Sujit's coin have Ilalhi month 'Azar' whereas your coin have the Ilahi month 'Aban'. As Seeker55 has already pointed out the Ilalhi date is partially visible and hence will be 4x.

And here is your coin in Krause with the right picture:
Unfortunately, like said before by Seeker55, the second character of the date is off flan. It's only a little bit visible but enough to rule out the dates in Krause. But remember, Krause catalogues only start at 1601, so again like Seeker55 says, 41, 42, 43, or 44 are possibilities.
