Dears,
I bought this token: it's 32 mm and 1,5 g.
The seller wrote that it's a notgeld from spanish civil war period, 15 centimos value.
Someone has informations about it?
Thank you in advance.
I tend to think that its not for few simple reasons.
It do not have the value in cents as "cts" "ctns" or "centimos"/"céntimos", as usual on the "emergency" coinage that was made here around the time of the civil war
Also you have only 3 leters, and nothing relate them to a specific city, region or similar, what was usual
In my opiniom, what you have here its most probably some kind of "remainder" of a child birthday or something like that
Edit.: the 15 probably its related to 1915
(My kwnoledge to make thoose comments come from browsing spanish webs from arround 1 year, I MAY BE WRONG, but i refer to the third paragraph)

Dear klei92,
I absolute agree with you: no value and no issue, mean not is an emergency coin. This I thought at the time of purchase (2 euros), but this token actually looks old, probably it could be 80 or 100 years old. I was curious to understand what it could be and your idea that it could be a kind of "remainder" of a child's birthday was something I really didn't think about. So I thank you for your information and dedicated time.
This kind of items are more or less common but of corse, each of them are kind of unique
For 2€, in my opinion, it is a nice piece of history, totally worth it and may i say thay its not common to see than kind of pricing, always around 5€ and up
Also to give you a little bit more of info, this kind of things were maid using as base a 5 or 10 céntimos Provisional Goberment 1870 (from Spain of corse). Do a little check of the measurements and you may find a match with one of them
Regards

Dear,
it looks like bronze, but it is a bit bigger than the 10c of 1870 and very very thin in comparison. In fact, the weight is 1.5 g against 10 g. Thank you again for your time
Throwing my 2 cents worth. I wouldn’t count out the possibility of some military ID. The initials may be a perso and the 15 related to a unit. These look like predated dog tags. If a match can be found, you have a good piece to hold onto.
