Hi! I am currently travelling through China and am sat in the airport at Lanzhou. I came across a shop called ‘China gold coin’ selling lots of lovely (modern) gold coins. All very expensive. I looked for a while and spoke to the lady working there and agreed I couldn’t afford any 😂 she did however have a ‘good cheap coin’ (2 infact) that she says is silver. I bought the two for the very cheap sum of 240 yuan (Around 26 pounds / 35 dollars)- after haggling.
could anyone confirm if I have robbed myself of got a good deal?
thanks
joe
Thank you!
they are legit. In China they won’t write a ‘fapiao’ (legal receipt saying it’s genuine) if it’s fake
they would be arrested! And it’s form the actual China good coin airport shop.
the woman said it’s ‘old stock’ they are told to get rid. I just weighed them and they come out prefect.
I hope those price was realised, but even if they sold 50% cheaper
im still happy!

colored coins are have e nice view, but for a real collector, it has no value.
I agree with your first line.
But not with your second. Who decides what is a real collector?
