I have to agree. Definitely fakes. They are cast coins and the details of the sable's features are wrong for an authentic Siberian kopeck. Regarding their age, the casting technique goes back hundreds of years and counterfeiting coins has been recorded going back to ancient Rome.
I got taken by a bunch of fake old Russian coins when I first started collecting so I sympathize. :-)
