I have made some adjustments to the New Zealand Coin pages to take into account the different metals and weights of the coins that were issued in Sets Only by the Royal Dutch Mint from 2010 to 2013 & 2016 to 2024. The 10, 20 & 50 Cent coin have already been fixed thanks to assistance from @Compendium  & @Jarcek

The NZ $1 Set coins are minted by the Royal Dutch Mint & are made from Brass & weigh 8.6g

This is the new page I have created for these coins.

N#438466

The NZ $1 Circulation & some BU & Proof coins are minted by a range of other mints, are made from Aluminium-bronze & weigh 8.0g

This is the page that contains some coins that should be on the N# 438466 page

N#2620

I have created the missing mintage lines on the new N# 438466 page and now require some members to be moved across from the N# 2620 page to N# 438466.

So can I have the following members on these Mintage lines moved to the Royal Dutch Mint page please. (Total of 18 Mintage lines)

Once the members are moved these now empty Mintage lines on N# 2620 can be removed.

Once this is completed I will check the outcome and move onto the NZ $2 coin.

A sterling piece of work @brismike do you have the composition details for each of the pages? Depending upon the composition percentage of the various component elements, there often can be little difference in appearance between brass and aluminium-bronze.

Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.

It is done :)

For N#438466 please note that I added missing 2015 year. (Without comment, as I do not know what it is (as comment on the second page was already gone)

Thanks Jarcek - I will check that 2015 year out to make sure it is ok. Appreciate your fast work.

This has been quite complex working out these changes.

Will do the $2 coin next.

Cheers Mike

Thanks Rick - I don't have the fine compositional details of the $1 & $2 coins other than the ones minted by the Royal Dutch Mint are Brass in these years  >>> 2010, 2011,2012,2013, 2016, 2017, 2018,2019,2020,2021,2022,2023 & 2024 & have different weights to the Circ coins.

The coins minted for circulation by the Royal Mint, Royal Australian Mint & Royal Canadian Mint in some of the above years are made from Aluminium-bronze and have the different weight. (Including the $1 Set Coin for for 2014)

The Other coins (10c, 20c & 50c) in the Dutch Sets are also different metal than the Circulation coins. Those coins Minted by the Royal Dutch Mint are Copper (10c) & Copper-nickle (20 & 50c) and the ones Minted for Circulation by the other Mints are Copper plate Steel  (10c) & Nickle Plate Steel (20 & 50c). (Again this includes the 2014 Set coins where for some inexplicable reason they didn't use the Dutch Mint?)

Believe me that I was tearing my hair out trying to work all this out. I have got most of these sets and never noticed the differences until one of our New Zealand members mentioned it when this years King Charles III Proof set came out.

I have taken the opportunity to update all the pics of these coins and I hope members like them.
